Our Accommodation African Violet is a holiday destination where couples or groups of up to twelve can spend long, relaxing days in the sun. African Violet has a 4 Star Self Catering star grading from the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa. Our luxury villas are conveniently situated close to Fish Hoek, Kommetjie, Simon’s Town and Noordhoek in the South Peninsula. Every suite has been individually styled with love and care. Each of the five luxury self-catering apartments is unique and private with uninterrupted views of the magnificent Atlantic coastline and surrounding mountains. From sun-rise to sun-set the loungers at the pool are ready for relaxation and soaking up the South African rays. All five suites were built by Rob Stewart and have been individually styled and decorated with contemporary African pieces and displayed art by local artist Gavin Smith. All apartments have hotel standard beds, cotton percale linen, fully-equipped kitchens or kitchenettes (studios), air-conditioning or fans, DSTV, wireless Internet, safe, fireplace or heating, and secure off-street parking. Our Terrace Villa has a private plunge pool and Jacuzzi bath. Luxury continental breakfasts are available on request. The Cabana, rock pool, sun deck and weber barbecues are all for the delight and use of African Violet guests. African Violet is an ideal base from which to explore the glories of the Western Cape. CMR Cape Medical Response.In the event of a medical emergency we are supported by Cape Medical Response (CMR) whose offices are less than 5 kilometres from us. CMR are equipped to deal with any medical emergency that may arise. The CMR paramedics and vehicles are centrally situated in our specific area to ensure that reaction times are kept as quick as possible and that members gain considerable comfort from the fact that emergency medical assistance will - quite literally - never be far away. Two of the apartments, namely the Courtyard Suite and Garden Studio, have rustic stone steps down to their level which could be a challenge to someone that has difficulty walking. |
